Picking up dropped balls
2025 plans
This year has been quite a roller-coaster for various reasons I don't want to go into. Suffice it to say that I've dropped a number of things, one of which has been posting and interacting on here. I had big plans for my substack and how I wanted it to develop, none of which have materialised. At least, not yet!
But I've realised they are still things I want to do, so I plan to start again in January. Create a schedule for posting and stick to it. This is an amazing community from all I've seen, and I have so many ideas of how I can use this site to build on what I've created in other places.
So this is statement to the world, that I will show up here more regularly and see where it goes. I need to re-think what I intended to post and how often, as well as make a few changes to how it is already set up, but that will be a job for the new year. Fortunately, I've finished some of the big projects I've been wrestling with this year, so I am ready to get started on new things once we are back in the swing in January. But first, I will take a couple of weeks rest while the kdis are off school to celebrate and recharge after everything 2024 has thrown at me.
